About this artwork
To create my abstract works of art, I use slightly pasty acrylic paints and apply them with different tools. For this picture, I first created a cherry-pink background and light color structures before creating a blue-silver color application with special metallic colors. By mixing other shades of pink and using orange, a cold-warm contrast is created that provides a view through the upper third of the picture. Depending on the layer thickness, the… structure of the canvas sometimes appears more or less as an additional texture. With different light colors, details come more or less to the fore. The edges of the canvas are designed in the background color. The picture is signed by me on the back.
Inga Knaak, a German artist, prefers to paint with acrylic paints and loves the abstract squeegee technique. She creates abstract representations with occasional geometric or playful influences, sometimes inspired by Gerhard Richter's abstract works. Her artworks are an allegorical reflection of life, unpredictable and sometimes with hidden, deeper layers of meaning.
Creativity, imagination, sensitivity and determination allow them to paint pictures that would never have existed otherwise.
