About this artwork
I created an abstract acrylic painting that captures summer in different facets. Using a squeegee, I applied several layers of paint that shine in bright tones and also in turquoise, white and violet. During the painting process, I also added gold accents to emphasize the warm, happy feeling of summer. It was particularly exciting to incorporate the purple pearl color, which gives the painting a fascinating shimmer. The combination of these colors…
has created a lively and dynamic work of art that reflects the lightness and joy of the summer months. Even though some areas appear very dark, the color black was not used in this work of art. It is a very rich, dark purple shade. The edges are also designed in purple.
