About this artwork
The square abstract acrylic painting is called "Glut" because it seems to glow from within and has its own dynamic. The colors in silver, black and dark red were applied alternately with a spatula. To match, I sprinkled black sand, silver granulate and some red sand glitter and worked it into the layers. The red glitter is very subtle and unobtrusive. The combination of the colors and the sand creates a rough surface in places and a wonderful depth…
in dark areas, as the close-ups of the painting show. The bright accents in the metallic color silver have given the painting a fascinating liveliness. The edge is designed in black. The painting is signed by me on the back.
