About this artwork
In this oil painting, I wanted to capture the essence of beneath the water in the pond I built in my garden in 2020. By creating this wet enclosure, pond life has grown and insects and invertebrate have become attracted to the pond and made their home. It’s a positive environmental message about providing a safe space for nature to thrive. The swirling, vibrant strokes, capture the fluidity of nature’s hidden rhythms, alive with energetic movement…
and light. This piece brings an invigorating energy, inviting viewers to dive into their imagination and feel the uplifting dance of colors and forms that I experienced while creating it.
