One of six works created during my plein air session in Fanningberg
I painted this work outdoors in Fanningberg, Austria, surrounded by the quiet vastness of the Alps. The winter landscape was almost monochrome, yet full of subtle tonal shifts — soft greys, muted greens, and countless variations of white that carried the feeling of cold air and deep stillness.

I am a Vienna-based artist originally from Kyiv, Ukraine. Passionate about painting since childhood, I studied at the art school of the Teacher’s House in Kyiv. After a successful career as an economist and banker, I returned to my creative roots, working in watercolor, oil, and later acrylics.
Since moving to Austria in 2019, I have honed my skills through private lessons, courses at the Vienna Adult Education Centre (VHS), and online studies with Natalia Nosyk’s art school. My works have been exhibited and recognized in competitions. My art reflects a confident use of color, light, and composition, inspired by nature, seascapes, and still life.
