About this artwork
The title of this piece, "Uncensored" captures the spirit of the work. For the artist, uncensored means a way of being our best selves - without holding back, without judgments, without stopping because of our current circumstances or beliefs, or not worrying about what someone else would think. Isabelle says that when she can really hit a place of uncensored work in her studio, she's connecting with her heart and soul, her true feelings, what she…
values, what brings her joy, and what makes her feel most alive! Uncensored is 12" x 12" acrylic on birch wood panel, finished with a thin layer of cold wax and set in a natural maple wood floating frame. The artist works on wood to allow her to layer paint then sand and scratch back into the layers to reveal what she calls "the history of the painting". Please see detail photos.

A 'highly collectable' artist, Isabelle's work is in the homes and offices of private collectors in Canada, Europe, China, South America and across the United States. She has been invited to show her work in 2025 for the forth consecutive year in the highly prestigious juried art show, the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts. Isabelle's work has also been seen in the art magazine American Art Collectors, she was the first ever abstract artist interviewed on the renowned PodCast the American Art Collective, and her work has been seen a host of Conde Nast magazines, including Vanity Fair, and World of Interiors.
