Language and culture vary around the world, but color’s energetic nature is universal. Colors express feelings when words can’t. Color effects emotions, yet the energy artists and viewers draw from color is also based on their own unique perception. No matter how you look at it, this little 12” x 12” treasure packs a lot of punch in its energy level - the artist created it to evoke energy and joy. Quite simply, it’s a happy piece, and will be featured… in Vanity Fair UK Hollywood Edition (March 2021) of Recommended Artists to Watch for 2021. But don’t let the light heartedness of this piece fool you - the artist knows how to place colors next to each other to make them sing. Multiple layers of acrylic paint are used to give depth. The level of sophistication is also noted in the design. “You Make My Heart Sing” is set into a gold leaf frame with a black interior. The entire piece, with the frame, measures 14.25”H x 14.25”W x 1.75”D. See Detail Photos.
« Beautiful art comes from inspiration. Inspiration comes from being present, from feeling alive. That's what art is for. »
