About this artwork
In 2020, I dedicated myself to the theme of nature, understood as a landscape that tends to dissolve, liquefy, or disappear due to pollution.
My images, however, are never direct and violent statements on the subject: they present themselves "graceful and pleasant" and then, as a second step, reveal their true message.
The theme of the ship is linked to human waste. A burden difficult to dispose of, its power hovering, like its reflection in the… water, ghostly over us.
