About this artwork

When one thinks of children's drawings, one can clearly imagine a simplified depiction of a ''house''. This piece carries that block, put-it-together simplicity. The title is just that: ''An Archictectual Arrangement''. During those years the found object was the building block for the pictures I made. In every possible way I could, I tried to reflect upon the urbanism within which I lived: for me that was the great city of Toronto at the time.… And as with other works from that series, it was about ''constructing'' the pictures: with cement, wood, brick and object. These works are still in Canada. Shipping arrangements can be made.
