About this artwork

With a piece like ''Do you need Eyeglasses?'', in 2007 I was at my top form. My comfort level in working with cement and assemblage had me feeling at times quite effortless. The ease with which on certain occasions heavy and disparete objects came together was wonderful. There was a sense of flow, no matter that the objects were called cement, glass, bricks and metal scrap. In this piece this co-ordination and playfulness came together very well… - and the feeling of urbanism just shot straight through.
