About this artwork
Transmuting Anger is a piece of art that has been transformed from the original piece which was called "Not MF You Hurt" It is executed in layers of color overlapping the original red, yellow and black paint the artist worked with, and also graphite marks. In reviewing the three works, the artist saw that the energy needed to change and the only way that would happen is if she imbued it with new and robust energy that made things lighter. This is… a piece of the series Abstracted Memories, taking from one period a mixture of emotions, and memories often inspired by the reuniting with possessions, the viewing of photographs from an era gone by. This piece takes a particularly painful reminder of the way some relationships that should have worked and didn't somehow, and transforms it into a compassionate understanding that there are mysteries in life and beauty in the not knowing. #memories #abstractart #multicolored #emotional #feelings #transforming #transmuting #nature
