About this artwork
Jean-Claude Pallier is a lover of Pen Duick by Eric Tabarly; He had the chance to sail alongside them during the Legend sail regattas in the bay of La Baule, and even had the chance to board as part of the Eric Tabarly association.
He was particularly seduced by the magnificent lines of Pen Duick, a famous gaff cutter with an arrow, a sublime Fife design.
He painted it here under spinnaker, splitting a sea of light, in this discreet and fast pace,… which gives it all its nobility
« The alchemy of the light of the sky and water, the infinite variety of their combined reflections are the basis of the emotions that I invite you to share. »
Jean-Claude Pallier is an experienced artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Inspired by the sea in all its forms, he is equally as fascinated by ships, the light of coastal landscapes, and the atmospheres of ports, which is translated through his works. Pallier creates in a realistic and figurative style, favoring acrylics on linen.
