About this artwork
Presented here is a fanciful porcupine fish in a wooden bowl. Being a scuba diver I have always found this denizens of the deep inherently odd and amusing. I recently obtained a small carving of one and gave it my own twist with pattern and colors. The overhead POV and strong shadows complete the 3D effect. Very striking... This piece was just finished and will be framed and ready to hang within 2 weeks.
