About this artwork
In Morning Coffee, Joanna Pilarczyk captures the essence of small, mindful moments that bring joy amidst daily routines. The painting focuses on the artist's hands gently holding a cup of coffee, symbolizing a quiet celebration of life’s simple pleasures. Inspired by her love for relaxing on her balcony, basking in the sunlight, and embracing tranquillity, Pilarczyk reflects on the pressures of modern life—often filled with the expectation of constant… busyness. Through this piece, she emphasizes the importance of self-awareness and taking time to pause, reconnect with oneself, and find peace in the everyday.
