About this artwork
BERT is a spider made of twisted and twisted common iron wire until I get the desired final look. The abdomen is molded in polyurethane from a mold (destroyed in Singapore before moving to Spain, so there are only 2 of these elements) and is coated with bright yellow epoxy. The artist has a special attraction for spiders. There is something that attracts you to do more and more of them. What he really enjoys is shaping the abdomen. In this case,…
he did it with very long legs with a thick internal wire as a frame and coated with a thin wire around the legs. You have also added wire segments to give a different thickness to each leg section.

« Passion and personal concern are the two concepts that best define my career as an artist. Passion as an invisible force that pushes me forward and personal restlessness to try new things and constantly improve. »
Juan Isasa, a sculptor who resides in Spain, has exhibited his works nationally, as well as in China, Indonesia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
