Meditation, mindfulness and natural spirituality: "Oasis" is a figurative, spiritual work: A green, calming and refreshing scene at a forest lake.
Two women are in the middle of nature, the woman in the foreground dips her feet in the water and turns to the woman in the background while gesturing with a raised hand. The woman in the background leans against a rock overgrown with greenery and also appears very relaxed. In all freedom and serenity,… the two enjoy the moment in a very human way.
The work of art was created on a hot summer's day and brings with it a very positive, clear and profound energy. It invites you to dream and leaves room for the imagination.
The oil painting is glossy sealed with a varnish, the edges of the 4cm thick stretcher are carefully painted.

Judith Riemer is a German abstract artist whose atmospheric works emerge from the interplay of movement and stillness. Influenced by her previous work as an interior designer, she explores the effects of atmosphere, light, and visual tranquility within a space.
After studying interior design, she continuously developed her artistic practice as a freelance painter. Her works are predominantly oil on canvas. Gestures, traces, layering, and deliberate reduction characterize her working process and create pictorial spaces of quiet tension and atmospheric depth.
Transitions are central to her work – moments of change, of pausing, and of becoming open. Light, rhythm, and reduced color palettes create works that do not seek to explain or capture, but rather to open space for individual perception.
