About this artwork
The painting was born of a spontaneous inspiration during a quiet evening in my studio. I wanted to capture the deep tranquility I often feel when contemplating the sea with vibrant colors and abstract forms. The result is "deep" – an image that creates a strong emotional impact through intense colors and dynamic textures.
For me, the strong blue base color symbolizes the depth and calm we carry within ourselves, while the bursts of yellow and orange… tones express passion, energy, and joie de vivre. By using oil and pigments, I was able to create vibrant textures that make the work appear lively and dynamic.

CHANGE and TRANSFORMATION are the central themes of my art. Through the power of colors, I express invisible inner states as well as the preconscious and unconscious and make them sensually perceptible. In my works, spaces of tension arise that combine calm and movement, dynamics and tension, and in which feelings, images and associations can come to life.
I work with different techniques: colors are removed and reapplied, and I use different utensils to scratch, smear and rub the materials - all of this leaves unmistakable marks on the canvas.
Are they landscapes or people? Or are they rather independent abstractions? This uncertainty remains even after a longer viewing and invites you to develop your own perceptions and memories of the images.
