The portrait appears to be captured between the stripes. Fragmented, yet present. That's precisely what interests me: this moment in between. Between visible and hidden. Between structure and emotion.
The lines play around the face, leading in and out again. Almost hypnotic. Here, I work with vertical and horizontal planes that meet,… overlap, and dissolve. And in the middle of it all: a gaze that lingers.
The title says it all. SOFT TRANSITION describes this transition: not just formally, but emotionally.
A gentle flow between two states.
Between control and letting go. Between thinking and feeling.

My work explores the tension between identity, body, concealment, and transformation.
I don't understand painting as a representation, but as a space for inner movement. As a place where that which cannot be captured becomes visible.
I work in series that develop organically during the process, not from pre-existing concepts. Material plays a central role: acrylic, texture, gold leaf, platinum, and mixed media are not merely decorative elements, but carriers of meaning.
Concealment is not a retreat. It is a deliberate act. It creates distance, protection, and a new way of reading.
Faces and bodies do not appear as surfaces for identification, but rather as spaces for projection. I understand identity not as a state, but as a process, characterized by the tension between visibility and withdrawal.
