In my work "Blessed," I wanted to capture the presence and dignity of a female figure. I was fascinated by the power that arises when a face is not just observed, but becomes a mirror of one's inner attitude.
The repetition of the word "blessed" in the background is like a mantra to me—a quiet but constant reminder that words shape our perception. This word permeates the image like a protective space, revealing both strength and vulnerability.…
I worked with acrylic paint, ink, texture paste, and gold leaf to bring together different surfaces and energies: matte and glossy, rough and soft, simple and refined. The gold leaf in the earrings, in particular, symbolizes value and dignity for me—something that radiates from within.
“Blessed” speaks of inner peace, self-confidence and the beauty that arises when we accept ourselves in our entirety.
