About this artwork
In this piece, I blend layers of acrylics, collage, and delicate pencil marks to create a dance between solidity and airiness. The semi-abstract forms express the shifting moods of nature and memory, inviting calm reflection. It is the third of a series that loosely depicts the view from my home across the Salish Sea that separates Vancouver Island from the BC Coast.
