About this artwork
Man and nature merge, couple and intertwine, inexorably linked. In summer, love takes an essential place and there would be no existence for human beings without this unique feeling.
This beautiful feeling is treated here by the work of the balance between rough flat areas and fine lines of drawing, light and dark, shadows and lights, in the middle of which we guess a close-knit couple embracing and kissing.
The canvas is signed LABB on the back… and surrounded by a black cotton chevron ribbon which allows it to be hung on the wall as it is.

LABB is a painter and draftsman based in France whose works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. Her favorite themes pertain to nature, as well as the place of humanity in nature. LABB expresses these topics through the depiction of veins, roots, vines, and entanglements in order to reflect on our ties, hindrances, dependencies, servitudes, and isolations. She primarily creates using oils on canvas.
