About this artwork
I was on a promontory rock on the edge of the powerful sea on the west coast of the island of Islay in Scotland. The wind, the assaults of the sea, time have bitten the schist into sharp cuts, piling up, engraving the rock with a nervous writing.
Emotional storm revealed through the use of charcoal. Expressionism, mixed with a semi-abstract style, guides the viewer into a tumultuous interior landscape, where violent charcoal strokes and ethereal… shadows intertwine. This piece carries raw energy and passion, injecting an emotional and captivating dynamic into any space where it is displayed.
