Credentials

  • Works on commission
Laurent Parienti is a French photographer whose work explores light, silence, and nomadism. Nourished by the Mediterranean, travel, and the unseen, his photography oscillates between contemplation, memory, and presence. After traveling the world, he found his true artistic home in Greece. Inspired by the Aegean Sea, the Cyclades, and Greek mythology, he has developed a timeless photographic style where blue, white, gold, and light become an emotional language. Through his series "Aegean Reverie," he creates silent and contemplative images that invite the viewer on an inner journey. Alongside this Mediterranean work, he has been documenting the history of the Moken people, sea nomads living between Burma and Thailand, for several years, in an approach where reportage meets a more poetic and sensitive style. His work on the Moken is currently on display at the Leica Gallery in Marseille.
