About this artwork
This work is part of a series of paintings I created using video, filming the entire creative process from start to finish, non-stop, and therefore without pauses. The video was then sped up to create a short clip where you can admire the final result appearing as if by magic... You can view the time-lapse video in the video section, and the source video file is included with the work at no additional cost.
In my paintings I use different media/techniques,… for this series I used markers, one of the most difficult techniques for creating photorealistic paintings.
In this specific case I liked to depict a pepper cut in half, since I believe this fruit is one of the most beautiful and particular in nature.
Personally, I have always had a real passion for liquids, especially splashes. I have painted, rendered, and photographed a multitude of them.
