About this artwork
"Echo Chamber" investigates the architecture of symmetry, resonance, and primal memory. Moving away from literal representation, the artwork utilises fluid, smoke-like watercolour washes on heavy paper to map a mirrored structure that evokes a Rorschach inkblot or a chamber where sound folds back onto itself. It captures a boundary state where deep intuition and structured consciousness collide — presenting internal energy strictly as an ongoing… process of stabilisation. This piece stands as an existential inquiry into the ecology of the inner world, inviting a quiet, meditative dialogue with our hidden psychological echoes.
Lera Ost is a multidisciplinary visual artist trained in painting, sculpture, and contemporary practices, with a rich academic background from Kyiv and Poltava. She masterfully constructs large-scale installations, layered textures, and immersive environments that blend painting, sculpture, light, and sound. Her innovative use of materials invites viewers into destabilized perceptual experiences, encouraging a slower, multi-sensory engagement. Ost’s art powerfully conveys vulnerability, introspection, and the transformative potential of darkness, inviting emotional confrontation with states often avoided, and fostering dialogue between inner experience and ecological imbalance.
