About this artwork
In this canvas I wanted to give space to the most instinctive and authentic gesture of my painting.
“Libera” represents the deep need to let myself be guided by color, without rules or patterns, to express a new part of myself.
Accustomed to expressing beauty through my flowers, here I chose to break boundaries and explore an abstract, modern, and eclectic language, where every shade becomes pure emotion.
The surface is rich in overlapping layers… of color, made with dense and full-bodied material, which give the canvas a lively and three-dimensional texture.
It is a work born from the soul, an act of creative and personal freedom, as unrepeatable as the moment it was painted.
Liliana Lo Verde, a trained painter, uses a mixed technique using acrylic colours, inks, chalk and the use of many mixed powders, to give life to her unique pieces. His works, rich in color and full-bodied to the touch, skillfully mix contemporary styles, always looking for innovative techniques. His works, full of emotion, aim to capture the essence of the emotional impressions he experiences in daily life, Life is a collection of feelings and his goal is to transfer various experiences onto canvas, bringing with him a story and a piece of his soul in each of his canvases.
