In this vibrant piece, Linnea poured my passion for nature’s harmony into every brushstroke. Using silk painting (not watercolor) she captured a lively forest scene teeming with life—a flowing river, roaming animals, and lush greenery. Linnea wanted this artwork to bring energy, serenity, and a sense of connectedness to your space, inviting you to feel the refreshing embrace of an untouched wilderness right at home. Kamaschi is a horse she rides… and that's her, sitting in the foreground. The silk is stretched and does not have a frame.
« I see the vibrancy of the world around me and feel the need to sketch, paint, or draw it. »
Linnea Pergola is an experimented painter and textile artist based now in South Africa, whose works have been exhibited nationally in the United States, as well as in Switzerland, Germany, Puerto Rico, and Qatar. Her love of nature is apparent in her diverse compositions, as she often portrays both animals and birds. As such, Pergola is an advocate for animal rights and the unjust treatment of animals. Her incredibly detailed pieces are created with pencils, encaustics and oils, watercolors, and ink on paper or fabric.
