Another acrylic tempera collage on wood for composition No. 36, titled 'The Old Castle', where Mussorgsky imagines a troubadour intoning his desolate song at the foot of the medieval fortress, and sadness pervades the entire piece: intense and melancholic! The bassoon, along with the low strings and the alto saxophone, present the theme, which is then taken up by the other instruments. These sounds are represented by the colors Violet/Red and Violet/Blue,… while the saxophone is represented by Light Blue. The central white figure placed on an open line is the troubadour. The dot is the end of the repetition of the melody. The entire composition No. 36 is made up of 14 panels, corresponding to the number of musical pieces. It is a visual reinterpretation of the suite, where sound and image merge into a single emotion. You can watch the attached video which contains and explains all the works.

He has a A unique way of combining painting, collage, and sculpture to create dynamic and expressive pieces! The works in the RITMI series are a prime example: a translation of sound into shapes and colors! The sculptures, on the other hand, are inspired by late-nineteenth-century Italian peasant culture and the ancient symbols of the Samnites. These essential works evoke a delicate relationship between man and nature, awakening a subtle emotionality and an intimate, dreamlike dimension. He uses traditional materials such as wood, iron, and stone, often recycled and treated to restore their original value.
