About this artwork
This diptych is a composite of two works previously published here, but since both were inspired by the music of Emerson, Li & Palmer, specifically Tarkus, I thought it appropriate to place them side by side, and indeed they are synergistic. These paintings are the result of an exploration of the connections between sound and form, emotion and color. They are an abstract synthesis in relation to the musical pieces: "The Only Way" for No. 25 and…
"Infinite Space" for No. 26, in a summary of emotions felt deeply and then represented on the pictorial plane. The works in the RITMI collection are a synaesthetic exploration, an intimate and personal attempt to translate into form and color the intense emotions aroused in me by music, the fruit of repeated and thoughtful listening.

The sculptures, on the other hand, are inspired by late-nineteenth-century Italian peasant culture and the ancient symbols of the Samnites. These essential works evoke a delicate relationship between man and nature, awakening a subtle emotionality and an intimate, dreamlike dimension. He uses traditional materials such as wood, iron, and stone, often recycled and treated to restore their original value.
