About this artwork
When I look at “Red Behind”, I see a heart — not the anatomical one, but a symbol of emotion, intuition, and silent strength. From this center, color seems to grow, with strokes blooming outward like wildflowers, vibrant and untamed.
This painting emerged during a moment when I felt everything at once: joy, pain, memory, desire. The red in the background isn’t just a color, it feels like a pulse — something always present, even when hidden.
I painted… instinctively, letting gestures and textures appear without control. The result is both fragile and forceful, like emotions that can’t be named but insist on being seen.
For me, this work is about resilience. Out of a raw, quiet core — the heart — grows complexity, beauty, and a kind of wild clarity.
