About this artwork
Nirvana unfolds like a silent vortex of water, light, and time. Circularly arranged structures gently draw the eye to the center of the image, creating the impression of endless movement that simultaneously radiates tranquility. Turquoise and blue tones combine with shimmering gold to form a composition that hovers between depth and lightness.
Upon closer inspection, the multi-layered surface reveals crystalline formations, fine cracks, and organic… textures. With every change in the light, new details emerge, ensuring the work never appears static. It evokes the surface of still water, as well as microscopic structures or mineral deposits that have grown over long periods.
