About this artwork
A while back, I tried to get into patchwork. I found it so fascinating... I did a few projects and spent a fortune on fabric, thread, a sewing machine... I finally gave up; it required too much concentration on my part, something my upbringing didn't allow for.
But it still draws my attention, which is why I started painting tapestries. I paint colors and patterns that I want to look at, creating color combinations that fill the room they're in… with energy, making them the centerpieces of the space.
