About this artwork
CIRCUS: a series of works centered around the Guinean artists of the Baobab circus. I sought to immerse myself in their very precise gestures, first by photographing them in action. Then I reworked the photos digitally and with paint to create a series of pigment prints somewhere between mysteries and presences.
