About this artwork
For OXYGENE, several techniques were used, including monotype and projections. The colors, which were scraped and rubbed, reveal the texture and grain of the original medium.
Movement and gesture, as in all of my work, are always very important. I seek to express life, its energy, its burst of life...
Here, from a background of marine colors and shades, blue and blue-green, rises a layer of small, brightly colored bubbles.
The margin around… the edge highlights the whole and accentuates its presence.

In order to preserve the full meaning of acquiring and owning a work, the edition is deliberately limited to 5 copies.
