About this artwork
DIAPASON is an abstract acrylic painting on canvas 60x40cm, created in 2023.
It represents the correspondence between Heaven and Earth, the resonance between opposites, the commonality between distinct elements that vibrate at the same wavelength.
A tuning fork when struck produces a sound, and if you place a tuning fork of the same note next to it, the second will begin to sound without being struck, simply in response to the first.
Likewise,… when we truly connect with someone, we also vibrate with them, playing the same note. This is perhaps the most fundamental and truthful definition of love: harmony that manifests itself, vibrating together.

I paint the monsters of life, and celebrate the Rebirth.

I tell the story of bruised women who choose freedom; I tell the story of tenacious recovery after illness, after loss; of the child who faces bullies, depression, hunger, fathers deprived of their children: I tell the story of life's monsters, and of rebirth.
