About this artwork
OPEN is the fourth painting in the Father Series.
Painted in acrylic and thick polyurethane varnish, it is inspired by the myth of Ogun, the African god, an invincible warrior who opens new paths for humanity. Like Ogun, a parent becomes unstoppable when it comes to protecting their child, and opens whatever path is necessary for their child's well-being. This painting honors the figure of the Father.

I paint the monsters of life, and celebrate the Rebirth.
