About this artwork
The painter returns to represent a pine forest in Tuscany, near the sea. The pines, twisted by the wind, the salt and the marine environment, dominate majestically and are the only witnesses of the opulent Etruscan civilization that once dominated this coast. The warm light is filtered by the pine needles and illuminates the vegetation of the landscape. In the distance you can see the wooded hills and, on the slopes, a small portion of blue sea connotes…
