About this artwork
No one knew exactly what she was thinking, but her eyes seemed to gaze beyond all that was visible. Sitting silently, her neck erect and her face serene, she let her thoughts flow like her dark, unruly, free hair.
She had learned to take refuge in her mind when the outside world became too noisy. There, in that intimate space, she recalled moments from the past, imagined possible futures, and asked herself questions that no one else heard. She… didn't seek immediate answers; it was enough for her to feel, to observe, to understand little by little.
Sometimes she thought about decisions she hadn't yet made, about paths opening up before her like half-open doors. Other times she simply blanked out, enjoying the silence, letting time pass unhurriedly.
