About this artwork

This is a beautiful and sensual painting. Marie makes and blends her own colors. It makes the painting so unique and all the colors are in harmony with each other. They love each other. t looks amazing. I always paint without references. Near the end of the creation, Marie lets her imagination goes and starts seeing what she just created with her human eyes. In this one, she sees the sunrise over the mountains and some water pounds starting to… melt.

Marie Manon Corbeil began to paint amidst personal challenges:‘Between sadness and hope, there was art’. Realizing that life’s difficulties provided her with a new means of expression, Corbeil wants to convey a sense of joy within her contemporary abstract works. She draws forms and writes positive words under each canvas before beginning a piece. Employing large brushes to provoke unplanned strokes, she also uses her fingers to optimize the vibrant colors in her compositions.
