“Happy Garden”
This painting makes me smile every time I look at it. I didn’t plan it—I just let myself play. It’s like a wild, joyful garden growing in all directions, full of dancing colors, messy shapes, and little bursts of magic.
As I painted, I imagined flowers laughing, the wind moving petals like ribbons, and hidden treasures peeking through the layers. You might spot a smile, the word happy, or even a few surprises tucked into the brushstrokes.…

Marie Manon Corbeil began to paint amidst personal challenges:‘Between sadness and hope, there was art’. Realizing that life’s difficulties provided her with a new means of expression, Corbeil wants to convey a sense of joy within her contemporary abstract works. She draws forms and writes positive words under each canvas before beginning a piece. Employing large brushes to provoke unplanned strokes, she also uses her fingers to optimize the vibrant colors in her compositions.
