About this artwork
When you stand in front of this painting, you’ll feel a whole world moving at once. Colours collide, shift, and swirl like a crowd full of emotions — voices, thoughts, memories, all dancing together.
And right in the middle of all that beautiful chaos… there’s a tiny heart.
Almost hiding. Almost whispering.
Like a quiet feeling that refuses to disappear.
I painted this piece thinking about how love always finds a way to sneak through — even in… the busiest, noisiest moments of life. When everything feels overwhelming, there’s always this little light inside us that keeps going. Sometimes it hides, sometimes it pushes, sometimes it glows without asking permission.
This painting is my reminder that even in the middle of storms, movement, and crowds, love is still there. Soft, stubborn, and beautifully alive.
« I breathe art, I eat art and I am happy. Art is in my blood. Art is my life. »
Marie Manon Corbeil began to paint amidst personal challenges:‘Between sadness and hope, there was art’. Realizing that life’s difficulties provided her with a new means of expression, Corbeil wants to convey a sense of joy within her contemporary abstract works. She draws forms and writes positive words under each canvas before beginning a piece. Employing large brushes to provoke unplanned strokes, she also uses her fingers to optimize the vibrant colors in her compositions.
