About this artwork

I paint joy. I am in my happy place in my studio surrounded by lots of colours. Every day I paint and create. In this painting I see a crowd singing, partying and just having a great time. I sit in my old leather chair and I can feel the positive energy I have put into this large painting.
I use only the best professional acrylic paint, heavyweight professional primed canvas and UVLS varnish. The painting is unstretched at this moment.

Marie Manon Corbeil began to paint amidst personal challenges:‘Between sadness and hope, there was art’. Realizing that life’s difficulties provided her with a new means of expression, Corbeil wants to convey a sense of joy within her contemporary abstract works. She draws forms and writes positive words under each canvas before beginning a piece. Employing large brushes to provoke unplanned strokes, she also uses her fingers to optimize the vibrant colors in her compositions.
