4/6- Acrylic on canvas. 6 panels in formation. Sky High & Deep Down is made in 2006. In this period my artworks involved a lot of floating and falling. I stands for being footloose, vulnerable en somewhere in between pleasant and unpleasant, in between life and death. Not attached, free but outlawed.It is a peaceful image all 6 together. It could be hanged in different formations and it to view it, is an uplifting experience

Marit Otto is a multi-disciplinary Dutch artist whose work has been exhibited in Netherlands, China and Vietnam. Implementing a range of materials from graphic to plastic, she portrays human nature in its sobriety - stripped of pretence, with particular focus on the human body in all its shapes, forms and behavioral aspects.
