Claim 90 is part of the Organic Grounds series, an exploration of paint as a material and carrier of time. The composition develops layer by layer, mostly without a design—instead, the physical behavior of the paint guides the composition.
The work plays with condensation and dissolution: In the lower area, strong green, blue and orange tones crowd together like a dense carpet of plants, while towards the top a finely scattered brightness spreads… out – like light sweeping across a surface.
The surface is rhythmic, almost musical. It's not about representation, but about development—about how something can emerge when you give color space and a concept.
