About this artwork
In crafting this piece, I dove deep into a palette of shadow and light, employing oil and enamel to explore the profound depths of human emotions. The gilding accents hint at the fragile glimmer of hope and resilience that persists in times of turmoil. This abstract expression plays with texture and form to evoke a sense of mystery and introspection, inviting the viewer to a personal journey through the dark to find their light. Hanging this painting…
in your home will bring an intriguing blend of solemnity and inspiration, constantly engaging and reminding you of the strength found in vulnerability.
This artwork was created during the Gulf War. It expresses the destruction of a land mass, and tears at the fabric of a society.
