"Mandala Blu" is a round object of meditation, a spiral of well-coded but not conceptual, transverbal script that extends from the center to the periphery, like a shell or a galaxy.
Every mandala is a universe gathered within a circle. The creation of a mandala is certainly a meditation and drawing it is a journey marked by the rhythm of breathing.
"Mandala Blu" is an object created from and for Insight Meditation, an open score and everybody… may experience it in a different way. Drawing and painting Mandalas is also a political act, an antidote to the current neurotic digital madness and slavery of our time.

Matteo Silva is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges the worlds of visual art and music. A painter, composer, and producer, he was introduced to the arts in early childhood by his parents, nurturing a deep sensitivity to form, sound, and silence. After completing academic studies in music and building a long, successful career as a recording artist and producer, he has dedicated his creative life to exploring the interplay between sound, image, and perception.
His art is deeply meditative and reflects a lifelong engagement with eastern philosophy, in particular with Dzogchen and Zen. These contemplative roots inform both his visual and sonic language, offering not merely aesthetic experiences but invitations into awareness and presence.
Working with oils, acrylics, mixed media, and immersive sound and light installations, Silva’s recent works blend visual rhythm, harmonic structures, and melodic intuition to evoke mystical and contemplative dimensions.
