About this artwork
The analog collage is an abstract composition of curved, bent, and angular forms in contrasting warm reddish-brown and cool blue-green tones. I layered the elements and structures in such a way as to create a sense of spatial depth and dynamism. The angular, dark colors appear threatening, whereas the reddish, rounded forms almost dissolve this effect. In the lower left, a woman is seen running very fast with her arm outstretched. Her white dress…
forms a strong contrast to the large-scale shapes in the background of the image. She seems to be fleeing from something, and her posture and expression underscore this impression. One senses a tense and captivating effect. Will she manage to escape this situation? I think so! Because she is almost touching the bright red arc, which could symbolically represent the way out.
