However, black marks on the hands reveal the mother's fierce struggle to protect her child from family court proceedings and abuse. a spiral of green and black. Green symbolizes hope and growth, while black embodies suffering and darkness. The spiral represents the cycle of isolation the mother experiences. "Speechless" illustrates the desperate protective instinct of a mother who remains speechless in her silent struggle.
