This creation translates the awakening, the promise of life returning,
“Spring” is an ode to renewal
This bust is modeled after a vintage mannequin, whose legless silhouette emphasizes the lightness of the upper body. The soft face is adorned with a floral hat in soft tones, symbolizing the awakening of nature.
The rotating base extends the sculpture into a vibrant setting: young shoots, fresh grass, and the… first flowers. The ensemble evokes the burst of renewal, the promise of growth, and the delicate energy of spring.
The bust is fitted onto a rotating base which is an integral part of the "work" since the ground is treated in the continuity of the subject: lawn, daisies, garden fence, flower trail, foliage, birds' nests, small animals
