About this artwork
While standing on a wharf in Florida, I happened to look down and saw a fishing boat crew member on the dock below cleaning fish that had just been caught. I was intrigued by the unusual perspective of looking down over the man's shoulders, the interesting shadows on the dock and table, and the crisp lines of the elements of the composition.
